I AM WORKING ON the following projects:
• an evening-length work for Due East (flute and percussion) plus percussion ensemble, with video staging and electronics, for 2012-13.

• a series of instrumentals with the group, bell monks. We just recently finished a CD entitled "let the waves carry us".

News:
• I was recently awarded a commission by the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition, for the piece for Due East (see above).

• My piece, swarms of light in metal was chosen for the Music from SEAMUS CD, which showcases work from the 2012 SEAMUS national conference held at Lawrence University.

• My piece, green is passing has been recorded for a forthcoming CD on Innova Records, here (and there), by pianist Jeri-Mae Astolfi. She has premiered and recorded the version of this piece that includes electronics. Other composers on the CD include Ed Martin, Tom Lopez, Phillip Schroeder, Jim Fox, and Brian Belet.

Upcoming and recent performances of my work include:
• January-February 2013 performances of the version of green is passing featuring electronics, by pianist Jeri-Mae Astolfi at Lawrence University, UW-Whitewater, Illinois State University, Butler University, Oberlin College, the College of Wooster, and the SCI National Conference at Ohio State University.

• March 27 performance of Ancient Caves, by percussionist, Patti Cudd, at the University at Buffalo.

• March 27 performance of a new work for percussionist, Zeca Lacerda, at Bowling Green State University.

• Spring 2013 performances of green is passing by pianist Ashlee Mack, at UW-Whitewater, NIU, Western Illinois, and Butler.

• May 5, 2013 performance of as night descends, the waters beckon by the Ancia Saxophone Quartet at Studio Z in Minneapolis.

• June 2-3, 2013 performances of eyes, sewn, await the sun by the Current Resonance Project at the Space Gallery in Denver.
